Training & Corporate Media
Workshops & Faculty Training
I don’t just design courses, I also train and support the people who teach them. Over the past few years, I’ve led live workshops, resource courses, and one-on-one trainings that help faculty and program directors feel more confident with online teaching, AI, outcomes, and our LMS.
My facilitation style is understanding, funny, practical, and supportive: I focus on making complex systems feel doable and on reducing stress for busy educators.
Workshops & Faculty Training
I co-facilitate an online teaching workshop online course.
Focus areas: for faculty who are transitioning from in-person teaching to a fully asynchronous, 3-credit
- Translating an in-person syllabus into a well-structured asynchronous course
- Applying UDL principles to support different learner needs
Designing meaningful assessments and rubrics - Using a standard module template to keep navigation consistent and student-centered
Format:
Live, synchronous sessions as part of the university’s faculty development programming, with hands-on time in the LMS.
Program Outcomes & Canvas Implementation for Program Directors
I design and deliver training for program directors on how to implement and manage program outcomes in Canvas.
This training helps directors:
- Map program outcomes → course outcomes → individual assignments
- Design assessments that support success at both the course and program level
- Build an LMS setup that automatically pulls outcome data, instead of relying on manual Excel reports
- Reduce the stress and heavy lifting around accreditation reporting with a more seamless, “one-click” review process
This training is both technical and strategic: we reflect on each program’s curriculum from a top-down perspective and build a structure that supports long-term accreditation and continuous improvement.
Targeted Mini-Workshops & EdTech Sessions
On an as-needed basis, I run short, focused mini-workshops for faculty on topics such as:
- Trying out a new ed tech tool
- Refreshing assessment design and rubric quality
- Improving a specific course’s structure or engagement
- Making small but impactful course improvements between terms
These sessions are highly customized to each faculty member, so they leave with something concrete they can apply immediately.
New Faculty & Adjunct Onboarding
I lead onboarding trainings for new full-time and adjunct faculty, and have run these sessions 60+ times.
In these trainings, I:
- Introduce faculty to our LMS and core tools
- Walk them through their course shells
- Help them set up their courses in a way that aligns with school and university standards
- Answer practical questions so they start their term feeling supported, not lost
My goal is to make sure no instructor feels alone on the tech or setup side, so they can focus on what matters most: teaching and supporting students.
Corporate Media Sample
Alongside my work in higher education, I’ve also designed and developed corporate eLearning and media in the banking and finance space, using Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and Vyond. I’m comfortable owning the full workflow from storyboarding and wireframing through to interactive builds and media editing.
- Due to confidentiality and access limits from my past employer, I’m not able to share direct source files from these modules, but I’m happy to walk through my design, storyboarding, and media workflow in tools like Articulate 360, Captivate, and Camtasia.
Corporate eLearning & Media – Banking & Finance
ESG Compliance Training – Banking & Finance
Tools: Articulate 360 / Adobe Captivate, Camtasia
Skills: Storyboard & Storytelling
I helped develop an ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) compliance module for banking staff, turning dense policy content into short, scenario-driven learning. I co-worked on the storytelling and storyboard, structured the content into clear sections, and created wireframes for the visual and interaction layout. I then used Articulate/Captivate and Camtasia to build a polished, interactive experience with embedded knowledge checks.
Bank Secrecy & Regulatory Training – Banking & Finance
Tools: Articulate 360 / Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond
For this module, I supported the design and development of bank secrecy and regulatory training. I contributed to storyboarding and wireframing, focusing on applied questions, branching-style checks, and clean visual layouts so learners could practice applying rules to realistic situations. I used Articulate/Captivate/Vyond for the interactive build and Camtasia to refine screen recordings, pacing, and transitions.
