Learning Experience Designer & Program Lead

Who I Am

I’m Caelen, a Learning Experience Designer & Program Lead who loves turning messy, multi-stakeholder ideas into clear, scalable learning systems. I work at the intersection of instructional design, program management, and innovation, building experiences that are structured enough to scale and flexible enough to feel human.

What I do

I design and manage program-level learning initiatives such as new program builds, AI modules, faculty development courses, resource materials, etc. My work ranges from LMS templates and outcomes maps to cross-campus work, plus the workshops and training that help people actually use them.

How I work

I’m an empathetic, flexible, systems-focused collaborator. I start with the real problem, then design simple, repeatable workflows (templates, blueprints, resource hubs) blending AI, innovation, and UDL into the core design. I care a lot about clear structure, clear expectations, and lots of support.

Fun Fact

I speak four languages fluently (English, Chinese, Cantonese, Malay), but when I’m really tired, it often turns into “bye-lingual” and my brain forgets which one to use. 😄
